Priority sectors
The Next Generation of Jobs Fund, designed to help create jobs in Ontario for generations to come, targets investments to companies in emerging industries with international growth opportunities. This could include investments in:
- green auto research, parts production and assembly
- clean fuels research, development and commercialization
- environmental technologies, clean industries and bio-economy
- advanced health technologies
- digital media and information and communications technology
- pharmaceutical and biotechnology research and manufacturing
- financial services
- anchor investments to support cluster development, including for the services sector.
